According to Binance’s announcement, the company pulled 2.064 million BNB from circulation, which is worth over $620 million at today’s pricing.
The 22nd burn was the greatest in terms of BNB tokens since the record-breaking 14th two years ago.
Binance has till date burned a total of 44.095 million BNB tokens including the latest BNB burn. Binance has an Auto-Burn method to limit the circulating supply to 100,000,000 BNB.
The mechanism burns BNB depending on the BNB price and the number of blocks created on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) throughout the quarter.
Binance has depleted almost 2 million BNB. Currently 157,904,427 BNB tokens are in circulation.
